Astrology

By 1444, astrology was starting to become popular in Europe. The earliest Tarot cards and astrological almanacs were beginning to appear in the medieval universities. The invention of the printing press certainly helped to popularize astrology. Also, the rediscovery of Aristotle and the other astrological thinkers of classic times in their original Latin and Greek texts after 1440 AD contributed to the growing interest in astrology.

Today there is hardly a newspaper printed in the United States or Britain that does not have an astrology section.
