NOSTRADAMUS PREDICTS EARTHQUAKE
Hysteria over the prophecies of Nostradamus' prophecies broke out in California in the 1980s.
A powerful documentary film called "The Man Who Saw Tomorrow" had just been released.
According to the film, an earthquake would destroy "New City" during a planetary alignment
in May, 1988. During the film, the narrator, Orson Wells, quotes Nostradamus as saying:
"Saturn, Capricorn, Jupiter, Mercury in Tarus, Venus.
Also - Cancer, Mars in Virgo.
Hail falls larger than an egg."
Panicked believers of Nostradamus rushed video stores for
the documentary. In the last week of March, 1988, more than 2000 orders for the tape
poured in.
An earthquake did strike California in 1988!
