Plato's Atlantis Was A Myth!

    Plato provided the first written account of the lost land of Atlantis, click on the folder icon below for the full text of Plato's "Timaeus". Two of Plato's 'The Dialogues': 'Timaeus' and 'Critias' mention the story of Atlantis.

    Most archaeologists and philosophers will insist that that the story of Atlantis was total fiction, which Plato invented to impart moral lessons to the Greeks. The major moral lesson was how greed and the quest for military domination violated the divine link between humanity and the gods.
