DRAGONS FROM THE BIBLE

Was the beast known as the Leviathan similar to the seven-headed serpent from the sea? The Leviathan is described in the Book of Job as a terrible dragon-like serpent, capable of belching fire and smoke although it too came from the sea.

Over the years psychic investigators and religious scholars have debated as to what the Leviathan actually was - since it's one of the few creatures mentioned in the Bible that defies the skeptics and their methods of scientific classification.

After all, what animal known to science fits this description - rows of armour-like scales on its back, dangerous sharp scales on its underbelly, and razor sharp teeth? (see Job 41:1-34)

All we do know about the beast is that the ancients called it the Leviathan, the Hebrew word for "serpent of the sea". And the fact that it was capable of belching fire and smoke, of course.

Some investigators insist the Bible description could be that of an enormous crocodile. Others say it was probably some now-extinct, latter-day dinosaur.

Other Bible reading psychic investigators say the Leviathan is related to the Lotan, the seven-headed sea monster cited in ancient Canaanite lore (Psalms 74:14) as a symbol of evil - much like our seven-headed sea monster which is going to wreck havoc on earth in its final days.
