Late in the afternoon on the following day in a strange house Rachel sat bolt upright in a most luxurious bed to ask, "Where am I?" all the while pulling an unfamiliar gown up around her body.
"You are in the home of Armon of Endor," a strange voice answered.
Turning she saw a short fat man staring at her from the doorway. Dark skin spilled from every opening in the white clothing fitting snugly around his portly body.
Waking up in unknown surroundings and being suddenly confronted by such a stranger was quite a shock so she put her hand to her mouth to hold back a scream.
"How did I get here?" she managed to ask him.
"I found you lying by the roadside suffering from what I feared to be a stroke," the pudgy man told her. "I picked you up and brought you here in my carriage."
What he did not tell her was that from a safe distance in his carriage he had observed the capture of the citizens of Nob while his personal spies reported to him from various locations in relationship to the activity.
